We’re Back with Veronica Jarvis!

nnHey everyone!  I had such a fun time with Veronica, so I decided to have her back and ask some more questions.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy this follow-up interview!nnWelcome back, Veronica! I am so glad you were able to chat with me again!n

    n

  • Thanks for having me!
  • n

nWell, let’s just dive right in shall we?  Do you have a particular genre you like the most? For example, do you find yourself more of the rom-com type or scream queen(horror)?   n

    n

  • Fantasy/Science Fiction (i.e. Star Wars, superhero movies haha). And Comedy and drama. I find that Science fiction has both!
  • n

nYou had me at Star Wars!nnSpeaking of Sci-fi/fantasy, if you had a superpower, what would it be?n

    n

  • To stop time. Think about it; you could always sleep as late as you want, have a vacation as long as you need, or just stay in that perfect moment for a little bit longer.
  • n

nThat’s a good one.nnIf you could play any character, who would it be?n

    n

  • Wonder Woman! She has an accent too!
  • n

nShe is one of my favorites! nnWho is your biggest inspiration?n

    n

  • Alicia Vikander. She’s Swedish so I feel a connection to her and I’m so proud of the career path she’s paved for herself.
  • n

nOMG yes!  And she is playing Lara Croft!  I love her!nnIf you could choose any actor to work alongside, who would it be?n

    n

  • Well, since she is my biggist inspiration, I would definitely say Alicia Vikander.  I feel like we would get along really well and fond over missing sauna and rye bread.
  • n

nOh, man…  I miss a good rye bread. nnAny advice for aspiring actors?n

    n

  • Peter, my boyfriend, always refers to making it in acting as the Olympics and I think so too. I think you can find success, at least enough to make a living out of it without needing a survival job.  If you stay at it, keep going to acting classes, and work and push even when you feel like you really don’t want to.  Because at the end of the day, if acting is really all you want to do, then only working will get you to the point where you’re able to do just acting.
  • n

nIf you weren’t an actor, what would you do?n

    n

  • I’d be an archeologist. I actually got admitted to go study ancient roman archeology at a really good university in Australia, and I would’ve spent a semester in Rome at the archeological sites. But I also got accepted to go study acting in New York, and I chose that. I’ve never regretted it; I know I made the right decision. But archeology is my passion number 2!
  • n

nOh my God…  My boyfriend would talk your ear off.  He loves the history of Rome!nnFun question.  What is your go to song to get you psyched for the day?  To motivate you.n

    n

  • It always changes, but right now it would be The Passanger by Siouxsie and the Banshees.n
  • n

nI only know the Iggy Pop version.  I will be checking their version out though because I LOVE that song!nnNow, your resume says one of your skills is knitting?  What have you knitted?  Anything intricate or difficult?  I always struggled with crocheting…  My great-grandmother got so frustrated with me she walked out of the room.  So I left the knitting and crocheting to her and I stuck to sewing.n

    n

  • Haha, well nothing fancy. Just like really long scarfs. I used to know how to knit socks too, but not anymore. It’s been too long. I like knitting while watching a movie, it helps me focus and not get distracted.
  • n

nAlright… A fun or quirky fact about yourself?n

    n

  • I’m such a nerd. Like I don’t go out to bars or clubs, and I don’t really like drinking and I love Star Wars to death, I even read fanfics about it and everything, haha. I’d rather stay in and watch movies with Peter.
  • n

nI will be hitting you up on some of your fave fanfics!nnSo as we wrap this up, I’ll get just a tiny bit serious.  What is your biggest fear?n

    n

  • That on my deathbed I feel like I haven’t lived.
  • n

nAnd finally, I don’t like to ask a lot of personal relationship questions because every person should be able to have something private, but I am curious.  How difficult is it dating another actor?  I am sure you both have different schedules and depending on location, it seems like there could be a lot of separation?  Do you travel to one another when one of you is not working?  n

    n

  • It is and it isn’t.  It isn’t, because if I’m on edge about an important audition coming up, or if he needs me to read lines with him for 4 hours, I understand. He understands. We both have things we need to do before auditions and as actors, we can respect it and understand it. I think maybe I would get into a lot of fights before auditions with a non-actor boyfriend, lol. The hard part is the separation during shoots… yes. Like he just shot a movie in Hawaii for two months, and of course I couldn’t go there for two months because I had work in L.A., but I did go there for a week!  So, we try to go see each other whenever possible.
  • n

nnnWell, thanks for joining us again!  I has such a great time!nnAnd for everyone who tuned in, check out this hilariously awesome “commercial” for a new product.  Very creative.  Men, I think you will be especially interested.nn
