nnThis year at Stan Lee’s Comic Con (still Comikaze to me) was a huge success. It was filled with tons of panels on almost any subject you could fathom, stunning cosplay, and a hall filled with exhibitors and artists. They also had an amazing line up of celebrities, including the amazingly talented Tommy Walker!nnI met Tommy at… hmmm, was it LBCC 2015? Has it really been a year? My, how time flies. I remember we had him on our podcast during the convention and the entire interview was hilarious!nnTommy had his very own booth at the convention this year (though it was a little difficult to find), so I stopped by a few times to shoot the shit and have a few laughs. I have found that out of the many people I have met over the years at conventions that Tommy is one of the most genuine out there. He is kind, witty, hilarious, and most of all, humble.nnWhile visiting Tommy at his booth, he realized that he still needed to record his push ups for the 22 Push up challenge. I was lucky enough to record Tommy while he did at least 80 push ups. (I lost count… OOPS!) If you aren’t aware of this, it is a movement to raise awareness to suicide among our veterans.n

Fnnunds raised through merchandise sales and donations are used to support partnered organizations who offer programs focusing on veteran empowerment, mental health treatment, and therapy/counseling for veterans and their families. Tommy starred as Francis, one of Wilson Fisk’s highest-ranking guards and was even entrusted in protecting Fisk’s fiancé. Now, we know that Francis got away with Vanessa (Fisk’s fiancé), but will we see a return to the show? We hope so!!!nnYou can read more about Tommy and see what he’s up to on any of his social media pages. Give him a follow and a like. You won’t regret it!n
nTommy, thanks for keeping us entertained and… just being you!nn nn
