‘The Marvel Experience’ should be on your TO DO list!

Marvel fans assemble!  That is, buy a ticket and experience a fun an educational ride through the Marvel Universe!  Saturday, I, along with my friend Rae Niks, covered the Marvel Experience and may I just say we had a BLAST!!!nnWhen you first walk through the gates, you are immediately taken to a recruitment station.  Here, you enter your name, date of birth, and other information, which allows you to become a recruit.  Smile for the camera!nnshield_id_badgennYou are then taken to the S.H.I.E.L.D Plaza where you prepare for your mission.  Grab your Super Power Band and a snack at the Power Up Portal, which will help you prepare for what is waiting for you in the next dome.nnThe Recruit Staging Area allows you to get to know the superheroes who have joined.  This part is fun because if there are characters you don’t know, you will after this.  By the way, Jennifer Walters is She-Hulk and yes, she is a lawyer.  (I bring this up because people were shocked when it came up… Don’t know why…)nnYou will then be briefed by Nick Fury himself in the S.H.I.E.L.D Mobile Command Dome.  There is a new threat and they need your help!nnNext, it’s time to train.  You can rock climb, maneuver through laser lights, and even go all “HULK SMASH” if you so choose.  In addition to this training, you will have training with Iron Fist and She Hulk in the Simularium- a 360 degree 3D dome.  Pretty awesome if you ask me.nnNow that the training is over, you prepare to take to the skies in the Transport Corridor.  Pay close attention because Spidey will be giving you the safety tips.  (And there is another person who would like to give you some tips as well...)  Once that has been completed, you are taken on the ride of your life…  It’s Helicarrier time!!!nnFinally, after saving the world, you wonder the gift shop, where there are lots of fun MARVEL things to buy!  I am personally excited to go back and get a 3D picture taken of me so that I can have my very own sculpture with one of my favorite superheroes.  I will take photos of that experience after it has been completed.  EEK!!!nn”Join forces with Marvel’s mightiest Heroes on a mission to save the planet. The Marvel Experience is a first-of-its-kind attraction that covers over two acres and encompasses seven colossal Domes. As S.H.I.E.L.D.’s newest recruit, you’ll swing with Spider-Man, smash with Hulk, and fly with Iron Man in next generation hyper-reality as you prepare to face the forces of Hydra.nnYour journey will take you through a 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic projection Dome, where you’ll get closer than you’ve ever been to Marvel’s Heroes and Villains. You’ll also blast off on a state-of-the-art motion ride, where you’ll feel every twist and turn. The Marvel Experience utilizes the latest interactive technology, including augmented reality, and multi-person gaming.nnAlong the way, you can get a close-up look at a life-size Avengers’ Quinjet, browse exclusive Marvel collectibles, or take a breather at the hero-themed dining area. You’ll need all the energy you can muster for your final battle against Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K., and their army of evil Adaptoids. If you fail, there’s no going home.”nnHere are some more photos for you to enjoy.  Oh yeah, and check out the video.  It just gives you a more compelling reason (If I didn’t do a good enough job) to go!nnnnhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGEOuaOtgbQnnYou only have from FEBRUARY 9-22, so hurry and buy your tickets at http://themarvelexperiencetour.com/tickets/nnHave fun!nnThe Fatal Siren
