nnIt is with a heavy heart that I announce that Joan Lee, wife to Stan Lee has passed at 93 years of age.  She had suffered a stroke this past week.  Her passing falls on the day of Spider-Man Homecoming being released (technically it’s tomorrow, but yes, people are seeing it tonight).  No, I do not believe in superstition (at least in this case).  It is just a rather large and unfortunate coincidence…nnStan and Joan were married for 69 years and had two children; one of which passed only three days after her birth.  Stan knew the moment he met Joan that she was the one he had been waiting for all his life.n

“When I was young, there was one girl I drew; one body and face and hair.  It was my idea of what a girl should be.  The perfect woman.  I took one look at her [Joan] — and she was the girl I had been drawing all my life.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

nMy condolences go out to Stan Lee and anyone who is mourning the loss of this beautiful woman.  Although it is sad, it is good to know that they had an amazing life together. Rest in Peace Mrs. Lee.nnXOXOnnRaven
