nnSDCC had it’s fair share of content to try and catch.  One of them was the hit series on YouTube Red, Impulse.  The story follows Henry, a sixteen year-old girl, living in a new town.  Something terrible happens and something awakens within her.  Henry doesn’t know what is happening or how to control it.  Danger lurks around every corner and each episode is like one roller coaster ride after another.   Although the show is primarily for YA (young adults), it definitely captures the attention of us… not so young adults as well.   Based on the novel by Steve Gould, writer Jeffrey Lieber takes us on a dark and at times agonizing journey and even though it addresses some heavy or mature themes, it isn’t over the top like some shows we have seen recently.nnIf you haven’t seen it yet, check out Impulse on YouTube Red and stay tuned because they got picked up for season 2!  Congrats!nnCopyright: Jamie LeDent Photographynnnn
