By Izola Okay, it may not be on the “big screen”, but my television is pretty big, so that works for me!nnSo, for those of you who have not read the books outlander is an amazing tale by Diana Gabaldon that follows a married combat nurse named Claire. The year is 1943. Claire and her husband are on a mini vacation of sorts and while on her own, she is magically transported to the year 1743. nnIn a brief time her life is threatens and to ensure her safety she is forced to marry Jamie, a young Scottish warrior. You find quickly why this is the best decision for Claire, even though she reluctantly accepts.nnIt doesn’t take long for a passionate affair to ensue between Claire and Jamie. She finds her heart torn between the men she loves. nnFor those of you who don’t like to read books, I highly recommend the series. Although I haven’t seen it yet, I can guarantee that it will be entertaining if they follow the book. It has something for everyone: Romance, action/adventure, science-fiction, magic and mystery…nnNow, for those of you who have read the book, here are the photos of who will be playing our beloved characters.
