Silicon Valley Comic Con- Why you should go next year

nnWell, this past weekend was a HUGE success!  There were a lot of great booths on the floor as well fun and interesting panels.  Aside from blisters on my feet, I enjoyed my time in Silicon Valley.nnSo let me tell you why you should go next year.  One, the space.  The convention center is massive and even though more people showed than expected, the staff was able to overcome it and ensure people didn’t’ have to wait in the blazing sun to grab their badges or enter the convention.  Now the outside, although hotter than Hades, was packed with things to do, including beer and food options.  Needles to say, I tried a lot of food and maybe got a little bit tipsy.  What can I say, it made me forget about my aching feet…nnBack to the inside.  NASA had a HUGE section and it was AMAZING!  From space rocks to Buzz Aldrin, they had everything you could possibly want.  And it was all at a convention (that wasn’t purely for science)!  I truly hope they are back next year because I didn’t get to spend nearly enough time exploring.nnFinally, we have the awesome guests, one in particular was Grant Gustin from the CWs The Flash!  Each guest that attended was extremely nice and entertaining.  The only small (and I mean very small) issue I have is that press didn’t get as much one-on-one time with the entertainment.  I cover SDCC each year and I am use to being in rooms all day, either interviewing on my own or sitting at a round table with other press goers.nnAll in all, this con is great and it will continue to get better.  Woz has taken  the normal con we are all use to and has given it pizazz.  Other cons have all been the same and it was refreshing to see something new.  I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store!!!nn
