Bandai Namco officially announced that Code Vein II—the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2019 anime-inspired action RPG—is launching worldwide on January 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
In this next chapter, players step into the shoes of a Revenant Hunter in a post-apocalyptic world teetering on the brink of collapse. The game blends fast-paced action RPG combat with rich, narrative elements, introducing new systems and dramatic twists:
🩸 Time as a weapon – Go to past and present versions of the world to shape the fate of humanity and Revenants.
🤝 Dynamic Partner System – fight alongside companions with strategic support or combine with them for powerful, unique attacks.
⚔️ Expanded combat mechanics – New mechanics give players varied skills and weapons to customize their playstyle.
🎨 Character customization – a robust creator lets you create your Revenant Hunter’s look before heading out on the journey.
Ahead of launch, a character demo drops January 22–23, so if you were a fan of the first game, you can get ahead of it andcustomize your gameplay and even transfer save data into the full game.
Pre-orders are available now with multiple editions—from Standard to Collector’s—each offering bonuses like outfits, DLC, artbooks, and early access. So you won’t be disappointed no matter which one you get!
👉 If you’re into stylized combat with a deep story, anime aesthetics, and Gothic worldbuilding (you know how much I love this stuff), Code Vein II is right up your alley.
I was pretty stoked when I heard the game was being release. I got to learn a little more about it and also got to sit on the motocycle from the game during SDCC.
